The President spoke by phone today with President Ollanta Humalla of Peru regarding bilateral and broader economic issues. More specifically, they discussed the status of the Trans-Pacific Partnership negotiations. Both leaders agreed on the importance of an agreement with high standards and of concluding negotiations swiftly. President Obama and President Ollanta Humalla also discussed the upcoming United Nations General Assembly meeting.
